The KMS trust was founded by great educationist Dr. Ramchandra Kashinath Shirodkar in 1935. Subsequently, he established primary and high school to elevate the status of mill workers in the area. A Teacher Training school was also founded later. A number of institutes were added by ShriH.D.Gaonkar, the distinguished successor to Dr.Shirodkar. This school follows the guidelines and principles followed by Dr.Shirodkar and H.D.Gaonkar.
The aim of this school is to impart quality education to the children, nurture their skills and look after their all-round development which will help them grow into confident, intelligent and compassionate citizens who can make a positive contribution to the society.
